Rebecca Faber is responsible for the development and coordination of initiatives to facilitate trade and global awareness in Delaware and the region. The WTC staff initiates, develops and implements programs to assist businesses and organizations including educational and networking events, market research, and consulting. The World Trade Center Delaware is a non-profit organization that assists small and medium-sized companies to expand their markets overseas, as well as raising awareness of international issues and their importance in regards to international growth.
Ms. Faber has been with the World Trade Center Delaware since January 1999.
Prior to this position Ms. Faber worked in the International Section of the Delaware Economic Development Office.
Ms. Faber also serves on the Mid-Atlantic District Export Council and the Delaware Commission for Women; is a member of the Board of Directors of the Port of Wilmington Maritime Society, the Delaware Chapter of People to People International; is a member of the New Castle County Economic Development Council; serves on the Temple CIBER Advisory Board; and is a member of the World Affairs Council of Wilmington, Women’s International Trade Association, the World Trade Association of Philadelphia and the Wilmington Rotary Club. In addition she is actively involved with Reins of Life, a therapeutic horseback riding program for special-needs children.
Ms. Faber has a B.A. in Political Science with an International Affairs Concentration and German minor from Gettysburg College. She is proficient in German, French and Spanish.
Ms. Faber currently lives in Wilmington, Delaware.
