Tech Forum July Update

A Note form the Board

Thank you to all who came out for our annual Summer BBQ earlier this month! We trust that you enjoyed reconnecting, relaxing, and enjoying great craft beer at Twin Lakes Brewery.

There is no event in August, but the Technology Forum board will be holding our annual planning retreat and we will be back in September with our Fall Back Into Networking Mixer.  Stayed tuned for more details.

We want to acknowledge outgoing board member, Jennifer Kmiec, Founder/Owner of Inspiring Women in STEM, who has served our association and community as Event Chair, for the past several years.  Jennifer will be greatly missed as she has made an immense contribution on the association's behalf.

We are however, are pleased to announce, new board member, Avie Silver, will be taking over Jennifer's position. We're excited to welcome Avie to her new role and would like to thank Jennifer for all of her hard work and contribution to Technology Forum of Delaware over the years!

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Tech Forum members sample craft brews at networking event
The Technology Forum of Delaware took time out for networking and to sample craft beer from Twin Lakes Brewing at its Newport brewery.

Twin Lakes reopened last year after moving out of its farm brewery in Greenville. Twin Lakes beer is sold in the area, with its brews often a part of local festivals. The brewery is preparing to open its tasting room.

The Technology Forum offers monthly networking and educational events for persons in the technology space, or individuals interested in technology issues.
