Dr. Dennis PratherPhase Sensitive Innovations
Co-founder & President Dennis Prather began his professional career by joining the US Navy in 1982 as an enlisted E-1. He ultimately retired in 2020 as a CAPT (O-6) Engineering Duty Officer. He completed his BSEE, MSEE, and PhD from the University of Maryland in 1989, 1993, and 1997, respectively. He is a Co-founder and President of Phase Sensitive Innovations, Inc. and the College of Engineering Alumni Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Delaware. He is also a retired Navy Captain (O-6), where he served for over 38 years in the Naval Reserves. His technical focus is on both the theoretical and experimental aspects of photonic devices, components and their integration into various Radio Frequency (RF) systems for imaging, Radar, and wireless communications. He has over 750 technical publications, over 80 patents, and is a Fellow of IEEE, Optica, SPIE, MSS, and the NAI. |
