Rich Kenney, a cofounder of TechSolutions, Inc., has been an integral part of the Wilmington-based IT managed service provider since its inception in 1999. As head of the Sales Department, Rich not only oversees sales operations but also plays a crucial role in shaping the company's overall vision and strategy. He is widely regarded in the Delaware business community for his pragmatic approach and ability to communicate complex technical concepts in straightforward terms, making him a trusted advisor for non-technical business owners and office managers seeking IT solutions.

With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a background as a certified technical instructor for Novell, Microsoft, and CompTIA, Rich brings a wealth of technical expertise to his role. His early career saw him serve as a Network Administrator at a prominent Wilmington law firm, where he honed his skills and gained firsthand experience in IT management.

Rich's extensive credentials include engineer certifications from Microsoft and Novell, as well as technical certifications from VMware, Dell, and CompTIA. Furthermore, he holds sales certifications from industry leaders such as Dell, Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of both technical and business aspects of IT solutions.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Rich is a passionate supporter of NC State, actively engaging with the university community whenever possible. He also finds joy in playing volleyball, contributing as an adult leader in scouting activities, and proudly participating as a "band dad" in his children's marching band activities.  As his children transition into their post-high school years, Rich and his wife, Melanie, are embracing new interests such as traveling the US and attending live music performances.
